About Ansasaurus

Simply, with a small amount of effort, people can help others and pass knowledge to each other.

In early 2010, the idea came to us. "Wouldn't it be nice if you could ask someone a question and they would help you find your answer."

Maybe they would:

• know the answer?
• find the answer for you?
• give you some direction on how to find it?
• give an opinion?
• make up a better answer?
• ..or be polite enough to say they just don't know

It wouldn't matter if the answer is not from Professor Yaffell, and may have some flaws, but we knew it would be better than current question/answer sites. Forum of contradicting answers and the most forceful is deemed the "right" answer, it's just not the nicest approach.

So, after a few discussions with friends, and a couple of beverages later, a simple idea grew into the first prototypes of this site. The idea is still the same, but how the brain (The Ansasaurus Rex) behind it would work become a little cleverer and a lot more complex. The site will get better at who to ask the question to as it gets used more.
